I’m always looking for ideas to make different kinds of deodorant. Since it’s getting a little warmer, I wanted a refreshing spray. Witch Hazel is perfect for this! And for the oils, I added those that are balancing and female supporting, cuz, let’s face it, I’m getting older.

For this recipe you’ll need:

(Click here to learn more about purchasing essential oils if you do not have them already)

Add 20 drops Clary Sage into bottle.

Add 20 drops Lavender.

Add 10 drops Frankincense.

Add 10 drops Geranium. Then top off with Witch Hazel. Gently shake and apply as needed.

These oils are so versatile and can be used for so many things like Hair Tonic, Facial Cleanser, and Sugar Scrubs. I like knowing exactly what’s in the products my family uses, and more importantly, what’s NOT in them! I’m so thankful…

I have recently made a deodorant spray using witch hazel and lemongrass and another oil but I forgot which one now – it seems to work well. I had tried a coconut oil and baking soda and cornstarch version for a little while but the coconut oil does not do well with me and I have had to quit using it – also it melts a lot in the warmer month. Thanks for sharing your blend – sounds like a good one for hormones and it will smell nice, too.
