My most favorite way to prepare my December Daily is by making my own album. I use clear acetate paper for the front and back and attach the album with big rings. Then I make my own personalized cover.
I have quite a Christmas stash of supplies built over the years. First I pull them all out and get in the mood by looking at December Daily albums I’ve done in the past.
I knew I wanted to do a combination of pocket pages mixed with full size pages, so I sized my cover to match the simple stories 6×8 pocket pages. I tend to drift towards an earthy rustic feel by using a lot of kraft colored papers and reds and greens.
I came across this paper from Simple Stories Claus & Company collection and knew it would be the basis for the cover. Then I just start layering tags and embellishments until I find what works for me.
Have you started your December Daily yet?
