I was listening to Christmas music on the radio when Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd’s version of Mary Did You Know came on. I am really moved by the lyrics.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little Baby you kissed the face of God?

Mary did you know…

The blind will see.
The deaf will hear.
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap.
The dumb will speak
The praises of The Lamb.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy is heaven’s perfect Lamb?
The sleeping Child you’re holding is the Great, I Am.

I had a Christmas card from last year that I kept with Mary holding our Savior in her arms. It reminds me to focus on the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of my Lord.

I cut a pocket protector to keep a single column. I really like the idea of being able to see through the pockets to other pages. I printed out some Holiday Art from Ali Edwards, added a star sticker I picked up at Michaels, a Christmas tree tag and put some sequins in a pocket and sewed it shut.

On the other side I used letter stickers to remind me of the song and an old jenni bowlin number from my stash.

Elisa, I love your page and I know the song well. It brought tears to my eyes when I read it. It’s so easy to get caught up in all the “hustle and bustle” at Christmas and remember that we need to always focus on celebrating Jesus! This is a great December Daily layout!
