Ali set up her foundation this year with her reason why she does December Daily each year. So I’m following suit and starting out with my reason why.

On the other side of my reason why I cut out this magazine cover from King Arthur’s Flour. The numbers go perfect with how December Daily works.

intro

For my intro i like to have pics of my family. The merry paper came from last year’s December Daily kit from Studio Calico. The December Daily Card was in my stash. I don’t know where I got it. I just added the year with some stickers from Amy Tangerine.

dec-1-part-1

For me, the holiday season begins with the Christmas tree, so even though we got it over the weekend, i wanted it to be December 1 in the album. With a few pieces I’m able to have a pic of the farm, a pic of our tree, a closeup of the kids, my BFF and the weather. I find if i scrap events with an overall large shot as well as the closeups, then I’m really capturing the day.

I can’t wait to see everyone’s else project!

    Happy December Daily!

I love the magazine cut out that you used – that is so perfect for this project!

You are so right about using several types of photos to really capture an event. It looks like you had a great day shopping for a tree! What a fun layout to start out your December Daily!

Oh I love everything! The magazine cover! Divine! Perfect! I love that you put the weather. I love that tall skinny old timey font you used. You rocked this!
