I was perusing #ProjectLife on twitter and came across this video by Amy Tan. I was so inspired I had to do some hand stitching of my own!  I find capturing the month vs the week works better for me. So I added some stitching to my March month card. Here’s the video that inspired me in this direction. Thanks Amy!

I wanted the March card to reflect a sense of Spring. I am so over winter! Can’t go wrong with purple and a yellow green to represent new birth.  The Citrus Matstock has lotsa spring colors. I chose the yellowy green color.  The  I typed a “3″ in Word, printed it and made some holes with my trusty Tim Holtz Retractable Craft Pick.

I sewed purple embroidery thread into the card. I love purple and green!
