For this two page spread i pulled blues and yellows from my stash. I’m loving this color theme idea!
We had some very strange weather in NJ this month. On the day it snowed I took a picture of the tree in the front yard and a snapshot of the weather. Two days later it was all melted and 20 degrees warmer. So I thought, do it again and capture it in my Project Life album. I love how it turned out. I like to include tidbits that i find in pinterest into my albums too like the walt disney quote i used for this page. See my previous post on how i keep them organized. Lastly, i love my silhouette! i usually take a few hours every few weeks and cut some goodies and put them in my stash so i can just place them in my album when I’m ready. Kerri Bradford rocks! I love this cut out! Lastly, it was Uncle Rob’s birthday. I made boston cream cupcakes for him and Cathy made tiramisu. It was a great day!
My second page continues with the blues and yellows. I really adding a bit of washi tape here and there to balance out the two colors. Jared found the skateboard this month. He’s going to be little Shawn White, I just know it! LOL
Here’s a few closeups:
Did you guys notice the moon this month? My husband noticed it one night and called us outside. We used my son’s telescope to capture it. It was just beautiful!
The only thing for Jared to work on in school is his handwriting. So I’m using scriptures for his practice. I love this!
Throughout the year I’d like to keep documenting progress on my One Little Word, FOCUS. One of my closest friends, Judy, gave me a few essential oils for my birthday, then Lamar heard about this company on the radio, then Lindsay posted about them! Focusing on health is one of my objectives this year, so i became a member. I am passionate about this! I really believe God gave us everything we need. So we are pulling away from prescriptions big time!
How’s your album coming along?
